  • Open the Terminal application on your Debian Linux system. 
  • Type the following command to download the latest stable version of opera browser for Debian:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ‘deb https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/ stable non-free’

$ wget -qO – https://deb.opera.com/archive.key | sudo apt-key add –

$ sudo apt update

$ sudo apt install opera-stable

  • Once the download is complete, run the following Y/n. Answer Y
